The Venue
The Stables offers a private and flexible space for your celebration, with exclusive use of both The Stables and our pub garden marquee, giving you the freedom to create a wedding that reflects your style.
We can accommodate:
Up to 100 guests for a seated wedding breakfast.
Flexible layouts including round tables, long banquet tables or a traditional top table.
Up to 120 evening guests once tables have been cleared for dancing, entertainment and your evening buffet.
Situated in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside, we're conveniently located close to Biggleswade, Bedford, Ampthill and Hitchin, making us an ideal venue for guests travelling from across the region.
Celebrant Weddings
While The White Horse is not currently licensed for legal wedding ceremonies, we are the perfect venue for beautiful celebrant-led ceremonies.
Many couples choose to complete the legal paperwork beforehand at Ampthill or Bedford Registry Office, before enjoying a personalised ceremony surrounded by family and friends here at The Stables.
A celebrant-led ceremony allows you complete freedom to personalise your wedding with meaningful readings, vows, music and traditions, creating a truly unique experience without the restrictions of a licensed venue.
We also work beautifully alongside weddings taking place at Shuttleworth House, local churches and other nearby ceremony venues, making The Stables the perfect location for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.
